Good host profile

  • Comfortable speaking with international clients in English.
  • Strong local knowledge of Bangkok neighborhoods, transport, daily errands, and basic arrival logistics.
  • Hospitality, relocation, admin, translation, real-estate, education, or client-service experience is helpful.
  • Calm, punctual, practical, and comfortable working from a clear checklist.

How host work is structured

  • Host work begins only after the client arrives in Thailand.
  • Tasks are scheduled in advance and tied to a defined package or assignment.
  • Bangkok Landing Pad operations provides the arrival-pack checklist and client context.
  • The intended model is a paid stipend or assignment fee that includes expected transport and simple arrival-pack errands.

Likely host tasks

  • Airport pickup coordination and accommodation check-in support.
  • First neighborhood walkthrough and local transport basics.
  • Simple errands such as SIM/payment setup, arrival-pack handoff, or grocery basics.
  • Scheduled accompaniment to selected partner meetings, such as accommodation, local setup, or practical provider appointments.
  • Clear handoff notes back to Bangkok Landing Pad operations.

What the role does not include

Local hosts do not handle sensitive client documents, interpret visa eligibility, give visa/legal/tax/financial advice, promise outcomes, provide emergency response, or act as 24/7 concierge support. They may accompany practical meetings, but qualified partners own the substance.
